Every resident has an individual care plan, which is developed in conjunction with the resident and their family. This ensures all needs are met in a way that suits the person.
We have an in-house personal laundry service and each of our resident’s rooms and en-suites are regularly maintained.
For those that require the extra personal care, we are able to assist with every day tasks such as showering, dressing and grooming.
Regular visits from personal hairdresser, podiatry, physiotherapist and other service providers as requested.
The resident’s room is their own private domain. All rooms have in built robes, heating, phone and TV points and call bells. The bathrooms are fully fitted with disabled access, walk-in showers, grab rails and call bells. A range of other equipment such as over toilet chairs, commodes and bed poles are available on request.
Beautiful gardens courtyards and a waterfront outdoor area as well as a BBQ pavilion provide a peaceful place to visit with friends or to rest and read your favourite novel
At Lions Haven our specialist staff identify the daily needs of each individual and facilitate their maximum well-being in the setting of their choice. Priority access to government funded residential low care services, both planned and emergency are available. Lions Haven provides a seamless comprehensive range of aged care services i.e. residential low care for funded residents, dementia specific care, and respite (including emergency, and dementia respite care).
Fresh, delicious and nutritious meals are prepared daily on site and the qualified chef caters to individual tastes including religious and cultural needs. Our dietician assists us to ensure the food is nutritionally sound for individual needs.
