Lions Haven has been providing quality aged care since 1992, through personalised care and support, premium facilities and tailored services to enhance quality of life and ensure the safety and welfare of our residents, staff and visitors.

Fully accredited with 24 hour registered nursing care 7 days a week, dedicated personal carers and a professional allied health team, Lions Haven provides low to high care support, respite care and aging in place. Our modern waterfront facility offers a safe, secure and comfortable environment dedicated to resident-centred care.

Board

Directors bring a range of skills and experience to their roles and to the board, from health and medical expertise to legal and business/finance. Committees such as the Quality Care Advisory and Consumer Advisory Committee include residents and their representatives to ensure consumer input into care and services. Many board members represent Lions Clubs from Coomera to Currumbin, ensuring that the vision, mission and values of Lions International align with the Lions Haven Strategic Plan and continue to underpin service development and delivery. The Lions Haven Board is subject to the requirements of the Australian Government; the Department of Health and Aged Care, the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission and all associated state (Queensland) and Commonwealth legislation covering the legal duties of not-for-profit directors.

Carlie Kilikas

Chief Executive Officer

Appointed in July 2021, Carlie is experienced in managing aged care residential facilities, public health and community organisations. Previously CEO at Werribee Aged Care in Victoria, Carlie’s experience includes Executive Director, Finance & Capital for the mid-North Coast Local Health District (NSW Health).

Kellie Trigger

Chair of the Board

Kellie was appointed Chair of the Board in 2023. She has extensive experience in health services planning, development and delivery, NFPs and community sectors. She is an experienced Director and has led Planning and Stakeholder Engagement for the Gold Coast’s Primary Health Network since 2011.

Dianne Reilly

Deputy Chair & Secretary

Dianne is experienced in communications & government relations. Dianne was the elected Member for Mudgeeraba from 2001-2009 & Chair of the Legislative, Administrative & Judicial Review Committee from 2006-2009. Joining the board in 2021 she has served as Secretary since January 2022 & Deputy Chair since Nov 2023.

Max Tunnicliffe

Director

Serving as a Chair of the Board of Lions Haven for the Aged between 2017 to 2023, Max has served many community organisations on a voluntary basis including Lions Clubs in Australia and New Zealand. He is a passionate advocate for aged care and the residents of Lions Haven.
